HR Specialist

Amerge is seeking a dedicated HR Specialist/Generalist to lead recruitment and manage HR
administration tasks globally. This role involves working closely with various people managers across
multiple countries (CR, SVK, DE, UK, US) and requires outstanding analytical and communication
skills. The ideal candidate will be a conceptual thinker with strong organizational and conflict
management skills, capable of making effective decisions while understanding employee
relationships, staffing management, and training. The role will be based in Bratislava, Slovakia, with
the option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial CV review to extending offers and onboarding new employees.
  • Develop strategies to build a strong recruitment pipeline along with market research and job posting.
  • Work closely with recruitment agencies to manage relationships, create recruitment briefs, and screen candidates.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process between candidates, recruitment agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Advise hiring managers and maintain high recruitment standards across all teams at Amerge.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding

HR Administration:
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining the employee database, sorting HR department emails, and managing physical and digital employee records.
  • Generate official internal documents, including offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters.
  • Maintain onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist with employee engagement plans, coordinate company official gathering activities, and manage directors’ travel plans.

Employee Relations & Performance Management:
  • Investigate employee complaints and address grievances.
  • Liaise with leadership to take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations.
  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management processes.

Compliance & Policy Management:
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations in all countries where Amerge operates.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated and followed across all locations.

Payroll & Vendor Management:
  • Ensure payroll data for Slovakia is accurately processed.
  • Manage relationships with local vendors providing goods and services related to HR, recruitment, and facilities.

Requirements and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years in HR Admin/Hiring.
  • Strong knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with recruitment and HR admin-related tasks is an advantage.
  • Understanding Labor Law and employment equity regulations is a plus.
 

Language:

  • English proficiency at C1/C2 level.

Salary
